Fatal Frame Series Overview

This series is genuinely freaky. You roam through buildings fighting ghosts with a camera. Sounds pretty cheezy right? Well it's not. This series is among the scariest of all time. This series hasn't receieved much push in the U.S., but it has quite the cult following. The environment, the ghosts-everything in these games is creepy. I don't play these games alone in the dark, and I have several friends that will only watch it, flat out refusing to play it at all.

If you're looking for an emotionally taxing game that will have you checking the closet and under the bed, this is it.

I played the first one on the PS2 and it scared the hell out of me. Even though the ghosts were kinda corny looking in the first one the environment and how they set up the scares was amazing. I wish they would make one for the 360, damned Nintendo.

Yea it does suck that they don't have a 360 version. You would think that with its popularity it would get a better push. Fatal Frame 2 was even rated as one of the top 3 scariest games of all time by g4.
